Welcome. This website is shared by the BRG (Bellenden Residents’ Group) and SRUG (Southwark Rail Users Group). The topics are linked to those covered on the Peckham Vision website and also on Facebook and twitter - please follow. Join the Peckham Vision mailing list - info@peckhamvision.org - and give your street name to receive information about Bellenden issues.
The BRG is a community group run by local residents. The aim is to develop a network of people in the neighbourhood who can communicate easily on matters of mutual local interest. The area covered is the Rye Lane West neighbourhood, incorporating the Bellenden neighbourhood: see the map. This is the SE15 area west of Rye Lane, south of Peckham High Street and Peckham Road, and runs up to the SE5 and SE22 borders, and overlaps with the south west part of Peckham town centre. See the map for the streets covered. Click here to see the BRG pages.
The main focus is around Planning and traffic issues:
Click on topic headings in left column to see more.
Other developing topics include local traffic issues, and a collection of pictures, material and comments about the history of this neighbourhood.
SRUG is a group for local rail users of routes and stations in mid-central Southwark, serving Peckham Rye, Nunhead, South Bermondsey, Queens Road, Denmark Hill, East Dulwich, North Dulwich. See these stations on the diagram. The aims are to learn enough about the local rail system to make informed comments and secure improvements to stations and services.
