Improving performance on Thameslink & Southern at London Bridge

Message from Southern Railway

At the start of this month, Network Rail, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) and Southern published a plan to set out how we will work together to improve performance on one of the most congested railways in the country.  Today we are publishing an updated version of that plan.  In particular, we set out the targets we have put in place for improving performance on Thameslink and Southern between now and 2018.  Thameslink and Southern’s services are now operating in a new environment caused by the works at London Bridge.  As a consequence, the performance improvements you will see over the coming months are measured against a new baseline - where we are now rather than where we were before the London Bridge works. We will provide updates every four weeks about our progress in meeting these targets and delivering the initiatives set out in our plan.  The first of these will be published in early April (subsequent to the end of industry Period 13). The updated plan is available here: http://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/performance-results/performance-improvement-plan
