Found in the Archives of February 2012 - this letter from London Mayor Boris Johnson supporting the SRUG claim to regain a full 7 day & evening service to Victoria. Now we have lost the full week service of two tph from London Bridge to Victoria, with the demise of the South London Line in December 2012, we need to remind him and TfL of this, and ask what they will do to make it happen.
Here are links to some of the responses to the Department for Transport's consultation on the South Eastern Rail Franchise which ended in September 2012.

There are some important changes coming from 20 May in our local services to Victoria and Blackfriars. The new pocket timetables are now available in the stations. Last Autumn, we let you know the latest information about the gaps in our services to Victoria that will be created by the loss of the South London Line (trains between London Bridge & Victoria via Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill) from December 2012. We asked users to email the Transport Minister and the London Mayor to let them know how you as users would be affected by this, and to ask them to fill the gaps in services.

They identified several different options that would create direct links to Victoria for Southwark stations Nunhead, Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill, and Lambeth's Clapham and Wandsworth stations, some less feasible than others. They concluded that Option 7 was the most feasible so that is what they are still investigating with Southeastern Rail. Read more.

The funding for the Victoria - Bellingham and Bromley new service that was promised in mitigation was taken by TfL for the East London Line Extension to Clapham Junction. This means that Clapham High St and Wandsworth Rd stations will lose all their services direct into central London. Read article...
