Read moreSeveral platforms at London Bridge station have been removed for the rebuilding of the station for the new Thameslink tracks. The pedestrian routes in and out of the station and circulation inside the station have been signifcantly changed to accommodate the rebuilding work. The new circulation plan can be seen here.
Transport for London (TfL) is reminding customers that long term National Rail service changes being undertaken by Network Rail at London Bridge mainline station are likely to result in busier than usual services, on certain parts of the transport network, as some customers who usually travel directly to London Bridge by rail use TfL services instead. From 12 January 2015 until August 2016, major Network Rail modernisation work will take place at London Bridge station and Southeastern rail services to and from Charing Cross will not call at London Bridge. Several changes are taking place at London Bridge station
If you use London Bridge station you will know the redevelopment work is now under way. Here is some latest news from Southern Rail who operate several services through our stations to London Bridge.

Network Rail is transforming London Bridge station, which will mean more room for passengers and a huge increase in services on the Thameslink route. The station will boast the largest concourse in the UK, with entrances on Tooley Street and St Thomas Street. By reconfiguring the track, there

Queen's Road Peckham station is changing:
* New station entrance and retail
* New public plaza
* Step free access
* London Overground services coming soon (9th December 2012)
Southern Rail have announced that work is about to start at Peckham Rye station to remove the existing shelters on Platforms 1 & 2 to replace them with a different kind. This is to make room for more passengers after the East London Line arrives on 9 December 2012.
