TfL advice on journeys disrupted by London Bridge station works

Transport for London (TfL) is reminding customers that long term National Rail service changes being undertaken by Network Rail at London Bridge mainline station are likely to result in busier than usual services, on certain parts of the transport network, as some customers who usually travel directly to London Bridge by rail use TfL services instead. From 12 January 2015 until August 2016, major Network Rail modernisation work will take place at London Bridge station and Southeastern rail services to and from Charing Cross will not call at London Bridge. Rail Service changes at London Bridge to 2018

There will be significant changes to Peckham's rail services from 20 December. These are not permanent but some will be with us for a long period up to 2018. They are the result of work at London Bridge for the Thamselink new services which will begin in 2018. See below the details of

Victoria & Blackfriars services imminent changes

There are some important changes coming from 20 May in our local services to Victoria and Blackfriars. The new pocket timetables are now available in the stations. These changes are the consequence of Blackfriars station reopening after a long closure for redevelopment. That closure resulted in our Blackfriars services being diverted to Victoria after 8pm during the week and on Saturdays and Sundays.

Train overcrowding fears as axe on SLL looms

from SLP 7 September 2010: When the South London Line is axed in 2012, the overcrowding at Clapham North on the Northern line will be severe. The funding for the Victoria - Bellingham and Bromley new service that was promised in mitigation was taken by TfL for the East London Line Extension to Clapham Junction.
