franchise: South Eastern

This is the new franchise from 2014 which covers most but not all of the current Southeastern services. This includes the SRUG stations' services to Victoria from Nunhead, Peckham Rye & Denmark Hill. The Government consultation on the specification ends 13 Sep 2012. Companies wil be asked to bid for this in the summer of 2013 to start operating in April 2014.

London Mayor backs need for more Victoria services

Found in the Archives of February 2012 - this letter from London Mayor Boris Johnson supporting the SRUG claim to regain a full 7 day & evening service to Victoria. Now we have lost the full week service of two tph from London Bridge to Victoria, with the demise of the South London Line in December 2012, we need to remind him and TfL of this, and ask what they will do to make it happen.
