The TfL invitation to the Stakeholder meeting on 24th November reveals that the campaign has successfully got trains to London Bridge back onto the agenda. These originally were excluded from the TfL review which was looking only at services to Victoria. The letter says:
“… We have now met with London TravelWatch to discuss the feedback provided and the progress that TfL has made in applying the scoring criteria to the long list. Given the volume of requests to consider direct links to London Bridge, it has been agreed that TfL will undertake some further work to review the feasibility of retaining the South London Line (one of the long-listed options) with Network Rail and DfT, before completing the scoring and short-listing process…” See full letter
