The Government has extended its deadline to 14 September for comment on the Thameslink franchise consultation. This gives you a chance to email your comments if you use the services covered by the franchise, especially the service to St Pancras via Blackfriars from Nunhead, Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill.

The consultation asks (see Questions 18 + 19) which services should be terminated at Blackfriars so users would have to change there, and which should go on direct to St Pancras, not requiring a change. It is therefore important that the Government understands how significant that direct service is to us here in inner SE London.
